Who We Are

Over a decade of dedicating time to learn-as-you-go repairs on our local church, buying our first houses and graduating college directly into the great recession, our skills have been honed by scrappiness – the kind of work ethic driven by the need keep our homes maintained (and renovated!) without calling a contractor for everything that needed to be done. Years of research and actual results have proven and reinforced our assertion that doing it yourself saves a person over 3/4 the cost of a job. That’s what has freed us to move from one project to the next, justified by the immense cost-savings and satisfaction of having done a project ourselves – and properly.

We have over 20 years of experience demistifying how to tackle common, and not-so-common home projects so you can have a guide. We have learned how to tell which tools are worth spending your hard-earned money on, and which are junk. We have had the opportunity to break-down oh so many projects in to bite-size steps so that even the myst difficult and confusing tasks can truly be DIY!
